Welcome to Garlip (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our services, including app.garlip.com (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Purpose of Garlip

Garlip is a digital platform designed to help creatives copyright and timestamp their original works. The App allows users to create verifiable records of their creations and store them on third-party blockchain networks. The service is intended to facilitate proof of authorship and does not constitute legal advice.

2. User Ownership and Rights

All content, creations, and data uploaded to Garlip remain the sole property of the user. By using the App, you grant Garlip a limited, non-exclusive license to use, display, and manage your content strictly for the purpose of providing the service. You retain all rights to your creations, and Garlip will not claim ownership of any uploaded content.

3. Third-Party Blockchains

The App relies on third-party blockchain networks to store records of creations. Users acknowledge and accept that:

• Garlip does not control these blockchains and is not responsible for their operation.
• Garlip may change, replace, or use different blockchain networks at any time, with or without notice.
• Garlip is not liable for any content stored on these blockchains, including inaccuracies, permanent records, modifications, or deletions made by third parties or the blockchain network itself.
• Users assume all risks associated with blockchain transactions and technology.

4. User Consent to Blockchain Risks

By using Garlip, you expressly consent to the following:

• You understand that blockchain transactions are generally permanent and irreversible.
• You accept that Garlip cannot delete, modify, or control content once it is written to a blockchain.
• You acknowledge that blockchain networks may experience downtime, errors, or unexpected behavior that is outside Garlip’s control.
• You assume full responsibility for reviewing and confirming the accuracy and legality of content before submitting it to any blockchain through Garlip.
• You agree that Garlip is not responsible for any legal, financial, or reputational consequences resulting from blockchain use.

5. Snard Tokens

Founding users may be issued Snard Tokens. Users acknowledge that:

• Snard Tokens may be used in the future as a utility token to access Garlip or related applications.
• The tokens may have no monetary value or guaranteed utility.
• Garlip does not provide financial advice and is not responsible for the value, trade, or use of Snard Tokens.
• Tokens may be subject to change, modification, or removal at Garlip’s discretion.

6. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information when using the App.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain security of any accounts and credentials.
• Do not upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
• Understand that blockchain transactions are permanent and irreversible.

7. Data Privacy

While Garlip takes reasonable steps to protect your data, you retain full ownership of your uploaded content. Garlip may use your data solely to provide, maintain, and improve the App. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

8. Modifications and Termination

• Garlip may modify or discontinue features of the App at any time, including blockchain integrations.
• We may update these Terms at any time. Major changes will be communicated through the App or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
• Garlip may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garlip disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Garlip is not responsible for:

• Any losses, damages, or claims arising from blockchain transactions or third-party blockchains.
• Data loss, corruption, or delays in service.
• Any legal disputes arising from user content or use of Snard Tokens.
• Actions taken by third parties or blockchain networks.
• Any content stored on blockchains, whether accurate, modified, or permanent.

In no event shall Garlip’s liability exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to access the App, or zero if no payment has been made.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of England and Wales.
